The 4th Public Sector Innovation Week will be held in Brasília from November 26 to 29. The event is the product of a partnership between the Ministry of Planning, Development and Management (MP), the National School of Public Administration (Enap), the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU), and the Latin American College of Social Sciences (Flacso).
Our goal is to bring together bright minds to share knowledge and experiences that will inspire the Brazilian audience, to foster learning and wonder - and to provoke a debate on innovation in the Brazilian Public Sector. More specifically, we aim to discuss the possibilities and challenges of innovation and the new applications of technology as a strategic tool that enables transformation of public services focused on the citizen, fostering the development of a more agile and responsive government to the demands of society.
Topics to be addressed during the Week include innovations and their applications in public policies, new trends in technology and their uses for generating public value, digital transformation in government and the promotion of sustainability, inclusion, learning and diversity through innovation.
There will be four days of activities, including lectures, debates, workshops and exhibitions, for which we expect an audience of around 1000 people. The opening ceremony will take place on November 26 and ministers, state secretaries and other high-ranking government officials are expected to participate, along with academics, practitioners, business leaders and civil servants. It will be an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, meet peers, expand the international network of public sector innovators and participate in the development of a strategic agenda on the theme for the upcoming years.
The event is free and open to the public!
